This is a thread I have created for people who just have something random to post but don't feel the need to start a thread or want replies.

I know that I will never, NEVER be qualified to manage type of baseball team, from T-ball, to the Big Show, but please, please, where is it written that because their is a right handed pitcher you must pinch hit with a left handed batter.
Did not Cabrera and Inge (both right handed batters) single in the bottom of the 9th against Paplebon, Leyland kept three left handers in a row, ALL three of which were struck out.
Am I wrong here, perhaps I do not know whether there were anyone else on the bench, but if the 2 out 3 players on base batted right, should that not say something.
Those 3 strikeouts were painful, no matter how many pitches Anderson fouled (which to me looked like he swung late on every pitch).
Just my rantings, I was just frustrated to see Papelbon ready to be dismantled.

While I understand that it isn't easy, the officiating (and corresponding conspiracy theories) at the major league and major college level in too many sports is embarrassing and atrocious.
Way too many Red Wing fans knew that Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals was going to be "The Bettman Game".
The inconsistancy by the NHL regarding disciplining (late) head shots, repealing "automatic suspensions", and the dreaded hooking/interference is pathetic.
Way too many fans know that Game 6 in an NBA playoff game is going to favor the home team that is down 3-2 in the series.
The fact that people weren't surprised by the Tim Donaghy scandal, and that his horrendous officiating was another day at the office for the NBA (ie, his performance wasn't negatively reviewed, if at all), might be the biggest indictment of all.
The variance of the strike zone has been debated for decades, and I'll let someone else rant about that.
And don't get me started on college hockey or basketball.

Okay, that MLB All-Star Game commercial with the giant magnetic St Louis Arch might be the stupidest MLB commercial yet.

That commercial might be awful but the tigers win last night was fun to watch. I can't believe that the last pinch hit walk off for the tigs was Sweet Lou back in 1995!!!!
