Hank Greenberg of the Harlem Knights was named MVP of the DBS in 1937 completing a Harlem sweep in all three post-season awards. Greenberg was named first on three ballots to easily outdistance Joe DiMaggio of Montgomery who finished second. Also receiving first place votes were Milton first baseman Dolf Camilli, Harlem catcher Bill Dickey and Pawtucket outfielder Joe Medwick.
