If they had Mel Ott (and if the fans could see the diminutive one from the stands), then they would sell out and be .800 at home.

Now just because the man needs a step stool to get on and off the train doesn't mean he can't be seen from the field. The new shorter infield grass is just a coincidence in Fremont and is not as some suggest because of Ott's slight stature. There also is no truth to the rumor of Wizard of Oz Munchkin night this year in Fremont so that Ott would have someone to look in the eye.
