Creepy was the ad where the Burger King is in bed with another man with that silly grin and a tagline of 'Wake up with the King.'

My boss was a minor league ballplayer during the 1980s and was a minor league teammate of Otis Nixon. He was nicknamed, "Skull" and "Skeletor" because he was so ugly.
To me, though, he's still not uglier than Willie McGee.

I agree - Willie McGee hit the ugliest .350 I hope I ever will see.
Aside from being ugly, I think all but 3 of his hits that year were Baltimore chop jobs...

Even worse was the ad where the Burger King suddenly appears from behind a girder and gives coffee to a construction worker. (It's on Youtube but you don't wanna watch it, trust me.) The worker is so shocked by the King that he almost falls off the girder ... or maybe he was trying to commit suicide.
