Baseball released the master schedule. So far I've found 2 Sunday night games in May. mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/a...=.jsp&c_id=mlbMay 13th @ Minnesota May 27th vs. Cleveland. ESPN has a flex schedule so could any Sunday night games at any time. Although the Fox schedule starts in April, the Tigs don't get a game until June: June 9th vs. Mets 3:55 pm(new time for all Fox games) June 16th @ Philly June 30th vs. Minny July 28th @laa August 11th Vs. Oak August 18th@Yankees September 1st @oakland

I can't imagine how many national games the Tigers would get if they WEREN'T AL champs. It seems even the Devil Rays would get that many.

Don't downplay the national appeal of Rocco Baldelli.

According to the pitching-depth article linked in another thread, ESPN has tapped TWO Tigers Sunday games in May for national broadcast. That paragraph is titled "Media Darlings", which I suspect may be sarcasm...
Maybe if the team renamed itself the Yankees, perhaps "Los Angeles Tigers of Detroit", a few more TV spots might open.
