I would like to submit the following rule change to be voted on at the next DBS draft.
Currently, we have a roster limit of 40 players (24 batters and 16 pitchers). The active roster is 25 players (15 batters and 10 pitchers)
These numbers are largely the result of the software we used prior to 1933. The current software does not lock you down to those numbers.
I propose eliminating the 24-16 rule, and the 15-10 rule (but 40 and 25 roster maximums will remain).
Any thoughts?

And replace it with what? Owner's discretion as long as it falls under the 25-40 numbers?

No strong feelings towards either the 24-16 or 15-10 rules.
If it helps make rosters a littler easier to manage, I guess I'd be for it.
